Fox Run Health Center Skilled Nursing

Fox Run at Orchard Park is happy to report zero confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 amongst our Skilled Nursing Residents.  However, we do have to report one staff member who tested positive for COVID-19. This employee will return to work after their designated quarantine period, per the current NYSDOH guidelines. After our immediate investigation, no direct care was provided during the potentially infectious period and therefore no close contacts have been identified.

Visitation is open.  All visitors must be tested for COVID-19 prior to their visit.  The only visitors that are exempt from this requirement are compassionate caregiver visitors, those who are visiting a resident who is experiencing a significant change or end-of-life care.

Visitors have the following choices:

  • Receive a negative result from a PCR test within 48-hours of visit
  • Receive a negative result from an at home Rapid test within 24-hours of visit
  • Receive a negative result from an iHealth Antigen Rapid test provided by Fox Run within 24-hours of visit

Fox Run will provide the iHealth Antigen Rapid tests prior to your visit, if needed.  Tests will be available Monday through Friday 8:00am-8:00pm, and on weekends from 10:00am-6:00pm.  If you need an iHealth Antigen Rapid test, please proceed directly to the Health Center main entrance reception desk to receive your test and instructions.  You will be asked to perform the test in your vehicle; return to the Health Center only if you receive a negative test result.  Please DO NOT re-enter the Health Center if you are positive.

Upon return to the Health Center, follow the instructions for your screening and verification of results at the Accushield kiosk.

Please be mindful that the questions during the screening process change often, and  pay attention to what answers you are confirming. You will need to verify through the AccuShield kiosk that you received a negative test result through a PCR or at home Rapid test.

Fox Run is in full compliance with the New York State healthcare worker vaccine mandate and all current COVID-19 guidelines and regulations.  Staff who have not yet received their COVID-19 booster will be tested according to NYSDOH guidelines.

All visitors must follow the new guidelines for visits:
