Fox Run Health Center Skilled Nursing
Fox Run at Orchard Park reports zero positive cases of COVID-19 amongst our Skilled Nursing Residents or staff.
All visitors are encouraged to test for COVID-19 prior to their visit, though it is no longer required.
Upon entering the Health Center, follow the instructions for checking-in on the AccuShield kiosk.
All visitors must follow the new guidelines for visits:
- All visitors are required to wear a surgical, KN95, or N95 face mask covering both nose and mouth for the duration of the visit
- When arriving on the Fox Run campus, all visitors must enter through the Health Center main entrance and check-in at the AccuShield Kiosk, a temperature check will be taken (to ensure it’s below 100℉), if approved, a ‘visitor day pass’ will be issued
- Visitors may escort their loved one to and from the Health Center, but please do not congregate in any commons areas, dining venues or hallways
- All visitors must use hand sanitizer before and after their visit
- Once authorized, all visitors will be directed by a Fox Run staff member to your loved one’s room. If you want to reserve a private meeting space, such as a conference room or our family room, please contact the Activities Department at 716.508.2157
- Suggested visitation hours are:
- Daily, 10:30am–8:00pm
- For off-campus visits, please call the Skilled Nurse’s Station at least 24-hours in advance, 716.508.2158
Families taking Health Center Residents off-campus must be mindful of the potential risks, especially if they have not been fully vaccinated. If a Resident comes into contact with someone who is ill with COVID-19, or becomes ill after an outing, a rapid test will be performed on the Resident. Any known contact with COVID-19 must be reported to the Health Center Administrator Ally Olsen immediately.

Fox Run Assisted Living & Memory Care
Fox Run at Orchard Park reports zero positive COVID-19 cases amongst our Assisted Living & Memory Care Residents and staff.
Fox Run visitors must wear a mask at all times and are NOT required to take a COVID-19 test prior to visiting, however it is strongly encouraged.
All visitors must follow the current guidelines for visits:

If a Resident comes into contact with someone who is ill with COVID-19, or becomes ill after an outing, a rapid test will be performed on the Resident. Any known contact with COVID-19 must be reported to the Health Center Administrator, Ally Olsen, immediately.

Vaccine Information
Fox Run is in full compliance with the healthcare worker New York State vaccine mandate. Fox Run partners with Buffalo Pharmacies to provide the COVID-19 vaccine and boosters to all new and unvaccinated Fox Run Community Members, and staff who wish to receive the vaccine.
Fox Run Independent Living (Commons Building, Arbor View Apartments & Patio Homes)
Fox Run at Orchard Park reports zero COVID-19 cases amongst our Fox Run Independent Living Community Members. If any Community Member does not feel well, please call your primary care physician and the Wellness Office at 716.508.2167, do not leave your apartment or patio home.
Fox Run is in full compliance with the New York State healthcare worker vaccine mandate and all current COVID-19 guidelines and regulations. Fox Run does NOT have a mask requirement for all staff and fully vaccinated guests. All visitors must check-in first at the AccuShield Kiosk in the Commons Building.
Mask Requirements
Fox Run does NOT require staff and fully vaccinated guests to wear a mask, except in the Health Center, everyone must wear a mask in the Health Center, regardless of vaccination status.
In-person Visitation for Independent Living
Visitors are welcome. All visitors who are NOT fully vaccinated are asked to wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times when in the Fox Run common areas. All visitors must check-in first at the AccuShield Kiosk in the Commons Building.
All visitors must follow these important guidelines:

- All visitors must check-in at the AccuShield kiosk
- At the AccuShield check-in, a temperature check will be taken (to ensure it’s below 100℉) and each visitor must fill out a health questionnaire. If approved, a ‘visitor day pass’ will be issued
- All visitors must check-in at the Commons reception desk after using the AccuShield kiosk
